Try this prebiotic salad to boost good gut microbes for health.

Your gut microbes are key to your health.  Your immune system is just that, a system, that is found all over the body within organs, tissues and cells.  However, the 1 pound of gut microbes you have in your gut are key to your immunity - they actually talk to each other!  Feed them well, and you will be well.  Try this prebiotic salad to boost the good gut microbes in your body.

Mix all together lightly cooked where needed & raw where possible the following :

Jerusalem artichokes, chicory leaves / root, garlic, onion, leeks, asparagus, broccoli, and if sourced, dandelion leaves.  Add to taste, lettuce and/or leaves, tomatoes and other fresh herbs like parsley, mint, coriander.

Add a few flax seeds (linseeds), pistachios and other nuts.

Dress with cold pressed virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
