love your liver!

Everything you eat or ingest will be processed through your liver.  It is the largest organ holding several hundred functions vital to your good health, working hard to neutralise any damaging agent we take in. The liver is the only organ in the body with the capability of regenerating itself. However, it can lose up to 70% of its capacity to function before any signs of dysfunction may appear.

There are 2 detoxification pathways for your liver which need to be assessed in order to know what would benefit you individually.

The following offers a basic support.

Reduce your liver load by reducing processed foods, plastics, alcohol, pollution, hormones, smoking, antibiotics, pesticides and chemicals in your diet and environment.

The liver loves bitter leaves, cruciferous vegetables and sulphur containing foods.  Any vegetable rich in magnesium and chlorophyll your liver will thank you for.

However, take a pause .. it is not always about 'putting in' but instead, the first step is to 'take out' all that is anti-nutritious and stops your body from having gorgeous waves of hair, clear, bright skin and strong nails.

Anti-nutrients include sugar, alcohol, and all the nasties found in processed foods.  These place an enormous burden on your body to metabolise, time and energy otherwise spent on repair and growth.

Consider a whole food diet - shop on the perimeter of your supermarket.  Remember, if it comes in a packet, it's not really food. Eat more healthy foods!
